Review
Viña Morandé was founded in 1996, inspired by the bold vision of Pablo Morandé, who had already challenged convention by planting vineyards in Casablanca—pioneering a new path for Chilean viticulture. From the very beginning, the winery has pursued an insatiable curiosity, exploring Chile’s most overlooked corners, rescuing ancient vines and forgotten varieties, and transforming them into wines that tell a story.
Its pioneering spirit is reflected not only in the origin of its grapes but also in the way its wines are crafted—with respect, creativity, and passion.

Our Vigno
Vigno—with a “G” for Carignan—is the name of the appellation from the Secano Interior of the Maule Valley, created to preserve the heritage of its old vines and time-honored traditions, with Carignan as its principal varietal.
Morandé Vigno is a field blend of Carignan and Syrah, sourced from old, head-trained vines rooted in the dry-farmed coastal hills of the Maule Valley.

Viña Morandé is unafraid to experiment, to surprise, and to return to its roots as a way to shape the future
Today, Viña Morandé continues to explore valleys, uncover hidden gems, and craft wines that move and inspire through their authenticity. Each bottle is an invitation to venture into the unknown, to celebrate the land’s diversity, and to rediscover the deepest essence of Chilean wine.
